I started yoga about two years ago, after prompting from my doctor to do some stretching and strengthen my core to aid a developing lower back problem. I haven't looked back. Well, actually I have, usually over my shoulder or standing on my head. Yoga couldn't be easier to start, or to maintain. You go at your own pace and try not to be competitive. If you're tired, you take it easy. If you're full of energy, you go for it.
There is no need for beginner or advanced classes, you just fit in. And there is nothing like the blissed out feeling you get after the class; it sets you up for the rest of the day. Just try to get stressed after that! And if you feel self conscious, remember that it's all about inward focus, nobody is watching you, and we’re all concentrating on our own progress. Breathing here...

Meditation
Relaxation doesn't always come easy, but this meditation class - by soothing candlelight - can help.
Pilates
Build strength from the inside out, re-balancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. Reshape your body, improve your posture, and achieve a firmer, more sculptured appearance.
Yoga
We offer multi-disciplinary Yoga classes, including:
- Hatha is yoga's physical discipline that focuses on developing control of the body through asanas or poses. Hatha represents the duality in life - yin and yang, masculine and feminine, darkness and light. It leads the way to balancing these opposing forces. It is the yoga of physical well-being.
- Ashtanga is for those who want a serious workout. Participants move through a series of flows, jumping from one posture to another to build strength, flexibility and stamina. The so-called Power Yoga is based on Ashtanga.
- Kundalini focuses on the controlled release of Kundalini energy. The practice uses rapid, repetitive movements rather than holding poses for a long time, and the teacher will often lead the class in call and response chanting.
Yoga Fitness
Yoga Fitness is a non-purist Hatha and Ashtanga (Power) style yoga class, which does not adhere to any particular philosophy, religion or type of meditation. There is no chanting, Sanskrit words, or religious connotations used.
This class is a challenging body/mind adventure, incorporating a dynamic yet gentle flow of postures, emphasizing body awareness & coordinating movement with breath.
